What We Do Today
- Present: curated concerts and mini-festivals featuring Edmonton artists alongside touring acts.
- Promote: artist discovery through society channels, member communications, and cross-scene partnerships.
- Development: stages for youth and emerging players, including all-ages programming at Winter Blues Festival.
- Sustain: a member and volunteer powered non-profit model that keeps live blues accessible in Edmonton.
Why It Matters
From community halls to festival stages, EBS helps make Edmonton a place where the blues is played, heard, taught, and remembered. By booking diverse artists, encouraging youth participation, and partnering across the scene, the Society sustains a living tradition one that links Prairie roots to a global music community.
